The LADY STORM was invited to participate in Zoe’s Summer Groove 2009.  Our players received an inspirational session with NBA great Walt “the Wonder” Jones and participated in a mini workout.  Walt really connected with the girls using his great sense of humor and “down to earth” speaking ability.  “You knew you were talking with a friend” as he spoke about basketball, academics and life!  The LADY STORM would like to thank Walt Jones, Alonzo Mourning, Dwayne Wade, their respective charities and all their hard working crew for giving us the opportunity to participate.  A special thanks goes out to Coach Justin Hampton for thinking of the LADY STORM when the invitations were considered.
